Phone Number Names is a nifty tool that displays up to 59,049 possible words you can make with the letter combinations of any ten-digit phone number. This old favorite has been improved in this latest version. A snappy, new Excel 5.0 dialog allows you to enter partial numbers for what-if analysis of possible combinations. Press a button to store the word combinations into a worksheet. It also decodes phone names back to phone numbers.
One mid-west radio station uses this tool in their sales and marketing department. Each account rep has Phone Number Names with them when they are making client calls. When helping them set up an ad campaign, they have a quick and easy way of producing catchy phone numbers for easy customer recognition.
