Office 97 Access

Import, Export, Link, Save as HTML

Data that's formatted as an HTML table can be imported into or linked to your Microsoft Access database. Import or link (read-only) tables or lists from an HTML file using the Get External Data command on the File menu. The Import HTML Wizard and Link HTML Wizard also convert HTML links to a field with a Hyperlink data type.

Export reports to static HTML format and datasheets and forms to static or dynamic HTML format by using the Save As/Export command on the File menu. Enhance the appearance, consistency, and navigation of your Web pages by using an HTML template file.

Create a Web application with the Publish to the Web Wizard by using the Save As HTML command on the File menu. You can output datasheets, forms, or reports to static or dynamic HTML format using one or more HTML template files; create a home page; store all files to a specified folder as a Web publication, copy the files to a Web server using the Web Publishing Wizard, and save a Web publication profile to use later.
