Even Column and Row Distribution

We now provide additional functionality that lets you evenly align a range of cells, especially useful when you’re drawing tables in place using the drawing tool. We have added two new toolbar buttons on the Tables and Borders toolbar, Distribute Columns Evenly and Distribute Rows Evenly - you can select a range of cells and click either of these buttons to get even distribution.

Adjust column and row spacing in one click with the Column and Row Distribution button.

Table Alignment

Word now makes changing the alignment of the table in your document trivial. If you select a table and click on the left, right or center alignment buttons, Word realigns the whole table.

New border styles

Word now has over 150 border styles to customize the look of your documents. This includes 3-D styles and several publishing oriented styles that allow multiple line borders which are especially popular in professional documents.
