Scale Character lets you compress or expand the character widths using either preset percentages or a custom setting. This is a handy text effect for emphasizing text such as titles. Double Strike Through is like the existing Strikethrough option with the addition that you can now get double lines as well. Word has added a new checkbox in the Format font dialog to enable this commonly requested effect.
