Wrapping around Irregular Objects

In conjunction with the rich drawing capabilities in Word, Microsoft wanted to give users who create documents such as newsletters access to a commonly requested feature - the ability to wrap text around objects of any shape and size. Word now provides this feature which gives you more flexibility in laying out your document. You can insert any picture and specify how you want the text to wrap around it either by right-clicking on the picture or by going to the Format Picture dialog.

Text Wrapping gives you professionally laid out documents

• Wrapping style - Word’s preview gallery lets you choose from typical wrapping styles including Top & Bottom where the text flows only on the top and bottom of the picture, not on the sides, or Square, or Tight.

  
  A new “Wrapping” tab lets you control text wrapping around the picture

• Distance of text from picture -You can also specify how far you want the text from the picture by adjusting the top, bottom, left and right text boundaries.
• For precise control, you can even edit the wrapping boundary.
