Shared documents redefine the process of collaborative authoring. Multiple users can now work on the same document at the same time which significantly reduces turnaround time. Word keeps track of all the changes being made by each author, and at save time, seamlessly integrates all changes. And, Word provides a simple interface for conflict resolution, giving you full control over the final document. Word now allows:

• Multi-user editing including complete status on who’s editing what, when.
• Conflict Resolution: if two users make changes to the same text, Word gives the users final control over whose changes prevail.
