Merging Documents

Word 97 lets you consolidate all changes or rewrites from different authors in one easy step. Instead of making you do manual merge by copying and pasting changes across several documents, Word lets you choose multiple documents and seamlessly merge the changes back to the original document. Multiple authors can perform edits and then merge all their work. Or, you can take documents away overnight and automatically, seamlessly merge their changes back into the original document.
