Word provides a handy way to review someone elses document online without altering its contents, and facilitates discussions in documents. Each comment can now be read in context and includes the full name of the reviewer - a light yellow shading indicates that the text is commented. To bring up the comment, you hover over the commented text; to take it down, users just move the mouse. You do not have to double-click on a comment inline in the document. Reviewers dont need to size and place the comments; they size and place themselves. Traversing comment tips using Previous and Next Comment is intuitive since they dont get in the way of the commented text.

New in place Comments make it easy to review documents online
Footnotes and Endnotes are also now read in context using ScreenTips. Instead of going to a separate pane to review footnotes, a ScreenTip appears over the footnote reference giving you the full text of the footnote.
