Word has many features that can save time and hassle in formatting documents. One feature is styles. Using styles allows the user to apply a specific font and/or spacing to an entire section with one click of the mouse. Using styles will dramatically improve the appearance of your document. Word can take a document that has no styles, and format the appropriate styles automatically using the AutoFormat feature. If you want AutoFormat to format a specific section, then select the specific text, however if you want to format the whole document, then don't select any text.

Every Word document has 73 built-in standard styles. By default, the style dialog box on
the Formatting toolbar usually displays a limited list. However, changing the styles to
include the nonstandard styles (the custom created) or all styles is easily done. To
change the style list to reflect the styles you want to show in the drop down box:
Note: The 73 built-in standard styles can never be permanently deleted.
What is a fast way to access Organizer?

When composing a document in Word, Organizer is a tool used to conveniently copy styles,
autotext, toolbars, and macros between templates. Accessing Organizer can be done several
ways. You can access the Organizer button from the menu bar.
However, to save time, instead of opening up a dialog box, it would be more practical to be able to go straight to Organizer. To do this, you must create an icon called organizer. To create an Organizer icon:
Finally, you will be able to access Organizer by just clicking on the icon.
